CEF World Day of Prayer Agenda

On Wednesday, November 4, 2020 Child Evangelism Fellowship International is having its annual World Day of Prayer. It is a day set aside for all CEF workers, volunteers and supporters to pray for the international mission to reach children in every nation, every day with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Olympic Peninsula Chapter will be joining with our ministry partners all over the globe to pray for all the world's children and those dedicated missionaries who labor to see them born into the Kingdom of God.

Our primary prayer objectives will be:

  1. Praise, thanksgiving and celebration for what God has done to reach the children of the world in 2020.

  2. Pray for the U.S.A. Child Evangelism Fellowship - training, literature, promotion, raising up of national leaders and international missionary sponsorship typically cost $19 million a year. CEF U.S.A. ministry's commitment to plant new work all over the world, every single day is why over 25 million children are reached with Gospel every year.

  3. Pray for the protection of all CEF staff and volunteers. Even in the U.S.A., volunteers and staff are at risk of sickness, disease, and violence. And this is especially true in areas of the world where the message of Jesus' love is despised.

  4. Pray for spiritual growth of all CEF ministers. It is easy to focus on preparing for ministry and neglect the personal relationship with God the Father that is actually necessary to be completely dependent on the Holy Spirit to do the work of reaching children with the Gospel.

  5. Pray for new and existing training programs. These programs are crucial for preparing every generation to minister effectively the truths of God's word.

  6. Pray for the balanced development of new technology. Technological advances are happening at such a rapid rate that keeping up with the knowledge and understanding of how to best employ these technologies is expensive and time consuming.

  7. Pray for North Korea. The nation of North Korea has been the prayer focus for 2020. We desire a spiritual awakening in North Korea and open doors for Korean missionaries to reach the lost children of that nation.
