Last night we participated in the Harvest Festival at Fairview Bible Church. It was a joy to minister to children ages 3-10 years of age. The atmosphere was charged with brotherly love, homemade soups and stews, as well as cakes, pies, cookies, and more.
Abby and Joann did a wonderful job of hand painting beautiful butterflies, rockets, flowers, and much more. The Wordless Book was shared with approximately 46 children. (We were unable to keep track of the steady streams of children wanting their hands painted along with Mr. Ken’s balloon animals). I, [Jacquie], did my part as well; popping balloons (oops), and making gospel caterpillar bracelets.
If you have not attended Fairview’s Harvest Festival, I highly recommend putting it on your calendar for next year. Come, bring your kids, grandkids, neighbor kids, or just come and be a kid, and let the joy of family fill your heart.
Now, lets get our RSVP on for the Fall Celebration happening this Saturday, 11/9, @ DCC, @ 2 pm (see invitation below for details). We would love to see you there!
